I have always been active in sports and fitness. In 2006 a friend of mine came up with an idea to open a fitness center, but the idea was shelved for awhile. I was looking for a part time career in 2008 to compliment my financial services business and ran across Personal Training ads. Personal Training compliments my first career where I can help people reach their goals not only in the short-term but for life.
I passed the American Council of Exercise Personal Trainers exam in February 2009 and started training people in my basement, at their homes, at work places and in public parks. I quickly outgrew my basement and in late 2009 the idea for a fitness center was resurrected. The idea became a reality in January 2010 when the doors of Soza Fitness and Wellness opened. We wanted to be a small studio with affordable classes, personal training, innovative methods and a warm friendly environment. For those of you that already tried us, thank you and we sincerely hope you enjoy achieving health and fitness with us.
I have a certification in Group Training in TRX through Fitness Anywhere. I have also completed class seminars in Extreme Interval Training, New School Strength & Conditioning, The Core Training Revolution, Kettle Bells, Obstacle Courses, and Boot Camp Work Outs.
I believe that exercise is not a temporary thing to lose a few pounds or to get in that summer bathing suit. At Soza Fitness we concentrate on a complete lifestyle change through fun exercise and proper eating habits. Let me have the pleasure of working with you to help you develop customized goals and changes to the way in which we exercise and eat in a plan that works for your particular lifestyle.
