I've been certified and trained by Beto Perez (Creater of Zumba). I first found Zumba in July 2007, instantly fell in loved Zumba, besides the Passion I have for it, ZUMBA has helped me drop over 35 LBS and 19 inches, it has helped me forget about my problems, worries and stress it and has motivated me in helping others find the same release I found with ZUMBA.

My goal is to give you the type of workout that you can't wait for the next class. with ZUMBA it's easy to get addicted to, I love each class just as I did when I first tried ZUMBA, I try to target mainly on abs and core the biggest problem most of us face without boring crunches, ZUMBA incorporates ab exercises along with cardio to give you the most out of a 60 minute class, it is a low impact aerobic workout and designed for all fitness ages and fitness levels.

August 2009 I took my Zumba to the next level, I got certied to teach Zumba toning, which incorporates light weights 1-3 lbs in Zumba, the music and toning exercises are designed to create beautiful lean muscles while upping the calorie burn up to 30%.

I first fell in love with Zumba® about 2 years ago and until then, I had never once stepped foot into a group exercise class.  I was instantly hooked:  the music, the rhythms, the moves. Who knew a group exercise class could be so much fun? 

In August 2009, I made the decision to become an Instructor.   I was trained and licensed under the direction of Beto Perez, founder and creator of the fitness program. What I love about our classes is that they’re perfect for anyone, from fitness beginners to athletes.   The program itself incorporates interval training to maximize your fat and calorie burn.  It’s low impact, builds agility and is a lot more fun than an hour on a treadmill!

When I’m not teaching classes, you can either find me training individuals one-on-one or competing in local foot races (5Ks, 10Ks) and sprinting-up downtown building stairwell races (Tackle the Tower, Sears Tower Climb).  Fitness and helping others achieve their goals is my passion.
